Spitfire and Hurricane Museum

The Spitfire & Hurricane Museum is a unique site, which not only displays up close two of the most legendary and iconic war planes themselves but also a whole host of period objects and artefacts which help bring to life the story of the people at this most important time of our history, as well as the deeds of the heroic pilots in the air and their support crews.

The actual Spitfire and Hurricane aircraft that form the centrepieces to the Museum’s fine collection, are the real thing, restored fighters that actually took part in WW2.

The Spitfire & Hurricane Memorial Museum is a registered charity, and entirely self-supporting, existing only by the number of visitors it attracts. It is run by dedicated volunteers and enthusiasts whom enjoy the task of making visit memorable. Visitor donations are always welcomed, and vital in enabling the museum to continue its mission in sharing the past, so that others may learn and remember.

Spitfire & Hurricane Museum now have a Spitfire simulator which can be booked online at: www.spitfiremuseum.org.uk/simulator
