Ulster Aviation Society is a charitable society (100% NON-profit!) of Volunteers, preserving and exhibiting Northern Ireland’s aviation heritage with skill, dedication and passion. Our heritage collection currently includes 54+ aircraft and vehicles ranging from vintage Second World War fighters through Cold War era and modern fast jets, helicopters, Shorts designed & built aircraft, Irish Air Corps, civilian aircraft, engines, vehicles, Aircrew Life Support Equipment, plus come and play on our 3 state-of-the-art, Flight Sims! Our aircraft are housed within two, authentic, Ex-Second World War hangars at Maze Long Kesh, 5 minutes outside Lisburn. Hangar Tours are FREE OF CHARGE, yes FREE, however the UAS relies on Donations to support our 100% Volunteer-run charity. Anyone wishing to visit with family should make a booking at least 2 weeks prior. Our hangars are open from March ~ early November.
