Eastchurch Aviation Museum

Eastchurch Aviation Museum illustrates the birthplace of British Aviation, the first aviation factory (1909, Short Brothers producing Wright Flyers in volume). The birth of the Naval Flying School and the subsequent forming of the RNAS (Royal Naval Air Service).

The site has the record of continuous service from 1908 (Charles Rolls teaching himself to fly in an engineless Flyer glider) through to closing as an RAF Station in 1947.
